330 new jobs have been announced at two separate companies in Dublin and Cork.
Pfizer has announced it is to hire 130 people, while a new care home in Dublin will employ 200.
Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer is hiring 90 people at its manufacturing site in Grange Castle in Dublin and 40 people at its operations in Little Island and Ringaskiddy in Cork.
The company, which already employs 3,200 people here, is looking for scientists, engineers and chemists along with operators and technicians.
Ringaskiddy recently secured a $30 million (€27 million) investment to develop specialist skills to manufacture the company's newest cancer medicines.
Meanwhile, 200 new jobs have been announced at a nursing home in Dublin.
CareChoice on the Malahide Road at Northern Cross is recruiting nurses, healthcare assistants, management and catering staff at its new 165 bed facility.
The facility has 165 beds.
The Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton, has welcomed the announcements.
