An 18-year-old woman is helping South Wales Police with their investigation. Both have been taken to Bridgend police station.

Paramedics took 10 people, aged between 17 and 43, to hospital for treatment for leg injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.

Three others also attended an emergency department.

Superintendent Andy Valentine said: "This was declared a major incident by the police and ambulance services.

"All three emergency services were deployed to the incident and work seamlessly to provide a fast and efficient response.

"All of the victims, eight male and five female, are now being treated in hospital for their injuries."

Nick Smith, assistant director of operations from the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "The injuries were all to lower limbs with no one reported in a life threatening condition."
