At least 120 people have been injured after two trains collided near Johannesburg in South Africa.

The crash took place close to Booysens station south of the city earlier this evening.

It is unclear what the cause of the crash was.

At least 85 people had been admitted to hospital and paramedics were treating others at the scene.
