When it comes to surfing the web, it's easy to get lost at sea. So let Moncrieff's regular guest Darragh Doyle, a man who knows a thing or two about what's weird and wonderful online, steer you in the right direction.

  • An opening video:

The feckin' hipsters. 'tis far from beer aged in oak barrels they were rared...

  • PopeSelfie

Take a selfie with the Pope. What else would you be doing? Why wait until 2018? Pope Francis has become a darling of US social media particularly recently with his visit and here’s just one of the things I spotted. It may not be the most convincing photo but surely it’s better than a blurry photo.

Available on iOS and Android.

  • Start Up Gathering App

October 5 to 10, there are events all over Ireland for businesses under the title the Start Up Gathering. With over 350 events - 60 in Dublin, 50 in Cork, 40 in Limerick, 20 in Waterford and in Galway and a further 80 throughout the country you can see what events might suit your business near you using the App.

It’s everything from Speed Networking to Social Bootcamps to Startup Showcases to funding advice and more. All the details are on the website as well. On iOS and Android.

Be part of a Beautiful Music video

Hello! A little video from me inviting you to be part of my next music video, supporting the great work Aware does. You can find out more about it here participate, share and tell people and let's make something Beautiful together :D

Posted by Nella on Friday, 25 September 2015

We know the effect that seeing something we like or experiencing something good - no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, can have on our moods.

Singer Nella is releasing her single Beautiful to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Irish Charity Aware. She’s creating a music video sourced from the public and asking people to send in short 3 to 15 second clips of something they think is beautiful under the hashtag #ABeautifulMoment.

A very simple premise - what alcohol should I drink to the sounds in your ears.

Lots of people like to watch Netflix and tweet - as opposed to Netflix and chill - and Netflix have released the FOMOMeter to say what most people in your area are tweeting about.

In Dublin - The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies ; Arrested Development ; House of Cards ; Breaking Bad, and Pretty Little Liars are the top five. In Cork, it’s OITNB ; House of Cards ; Breaking Bad ; Suits and Pretty Little Liars.

Speaking of which, Netflix have released the schematics of a Netflix and Chill Button which will turn on Netflix, Dim the Lights, Order Food for you, Silence your Devices and allow you to relax. All the schematics and diagrams you need are over on the Newstalk website.

Finally, apparently,  the answer to what you should watch tonight. She wants to watch Die Hard. You want to watch The Princess BrideThis shows you the film to watch to compromise - everything from Shrek, ET, Toy Story and Ghostbusters.

Aoibheann and Padraic, both in 3rd class in Cloghans Hill National School, Co Mayo, made a website because there were no farm safety websites aimed at children out there and there has been, they say, a scary increase in farming accidents in recent years.

Their website offers great tips for young people to stay safe on the farm.

  • And finally...

99 Red Balloons played, of course, on 99 Red Balloons...
