Suicide or Survive (SOS) is an Irish charity that endeavours to challenge the stigma attached to mental illness and provides a range of educational and therapeutic programmes that increases understanding of suicide and plays an active role in its prevention in Ireland.
They’ve released the SOS Mobile app designed to support and assist the individual to improve their mental wellness. Using meditation and mindfulness techniques as well as the charity’s own experience of running Wellness Workshops and promoting Mental health wellness, the free SOS mobile app allows you to work towards better mental well being.
The SOS App features:
- How to take a Mindful Minute
- Mindfulness diary and timer
- Track your Mental wellbeing over time with the Health Continua
- Feed your Wolf of Hope daily
- Watch short Video presentations
- Book into a free Wellness Workshop near you
The app is in the early stages of development and if you try it and have ideas for improvement, give Suicide or Survive a shout.
