Skype says an issue which stopped users from logging in has now been fixed.
Technicians are working on reconnecting people's accounts and fully restoring the service.
Earlier some users were unable to change their status, start calls, or see their contacts.

Thousands of people used social media on Monday to complain that they could not make calls using the popular app.
A message on Skype's website said: "We're working on a fix for this issue and hope to have an update for you soon. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused while we get this resolved."
