Three years ago, I sat in a New York hotel room and posted some photos of my trip on Instagram. They were all gorgeous shots, if I do say so myself, but it made me realise how I rarely document my normal, day-to-day life online. I can tell you now, my life is far more "instant coffee at my desk" than "Prosecco in NYC".
The thought stayed in my brain and so I decided to ask social media users to document their day online using a hashtag. The idea was that we could all click through and see who does what on a daily basis. It worked well and I've done it every year since.
Join us this Thursday for #OneIrishDay on Twitter and Instagram... The concept is simple: pic.twitter.com/2TnJu1X4m0
