Judging from their latest launch it seems as though Motorola are determined to make Google regret selling them to Lenovo. The U.S.-founded firm have launched three new smartphones citing a direct-to-customer sales approach.

They've launched the Moto X Style, the Moto X Play and the Moto G. All three of which aim to be a lot cheaper that their direct competitors.

While European prices haven't been announced yet the company say that the Moto X Style, the flagship phone expected to compete with the iPhone 6 and Galaxy S6, will be priced between $200 to $300 cheaper than both.

While the price tag may be considerably lower than the others Motorola claim that it won't reflect the quality of the product citing an excellent camera and a brilliant battery.

The company say that the Style and Play take 15 minutes to charge its battery for 10 hours of use. If true, that's quicker than Samsung's quick charge feature.

The Style has a 5.7 inch quad HD display as well as a 21 megapixel camera which Motorola claim is among the three best smartphone cameras in the world.

It will also ship direct from Motorola as well as selected retailers and it will be unlocked. It will come with 3GB DDR and comes with three options of storage 16GB, 32GB and 64 GB.

The Play is slightly less powerful, boasting 2GB of RAM but again from stats looks like a steal given the rumored prices.

Finally, the Moto G is very much like the second generation Moto X which was released last year. Don't be surprised if that's what replaces the well liked phone.

The new launch from Motorola has a lot of people excited especially those in the Android community. The point of the phone is also very akin to Google's aim of making the smartphone a lot more affordable.
