March 7th - 11th - Dun Laoghaire Local Enterprise Week
If you are a start-up or interested how to get involved in the tech sector, then the Local Enterprise Week in Dun Laoghaire may be for you. Events will take place throughout the week with the flagship event, “Future in the Business World” conference taking place on Tuesday.
Speakers at the conference include Iain Jawad of Frost & Sullivan outlining ‘Future Global Trends’, and Maureen Gaffney discussing ‘Managing Change, Resilience and Being at Your Best’. Bobby Kerr (Dragons Den, Newstalk) will also share his experience of investing in businesses. The conference offers an excellent opportunity to find out about funding and provides a one-stop-shop for meeting business support agencies and for one-to-one advice and coaching from expert professionals.

March 8th (Tue) - Women in Games
Tuesday is International Women’s Day and will see a whole host of events taking place around world. One event worth checking out is “Women in Games” which is being hosted at Dogpatch Labs at the IFSC in Dublin, between 6.30pm and 9pm. On the evening there will be six short ten minute talks from women working in design, audio, writing, programming, network operations and quality assurance in the games industry. Speakers will range from people employed in multinationals, to company founders and freelancers.

March 8th (Tue) - Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
The eagerly anticipated Samsung S7 and S7 Edge will be officially launched at a Dublin venue. We will be there and live-tweeting the entire thing, plus we’ll have a full review of the S7 on Wednesday.
March 9th (Wed) - DMX Dublin - Ireland’s largest digital marketing conference
DMX Dublin will take place at the Aviva Stadium this coming Wednesday. This year will see a unique programme for Irish startups added to the event. This brand new stream had been introduced to showcase innovative startups in front of senior decision-makers in Irish marketing, media and advertising. Each startup will present within this year's Innovation stream at DMX, and will get to deliver a detailed insight into their business before an audience made up of Ireland’s most senior decision-makers in Irish marketing, media and advertising.
Yuri van Geest, an international keynote speaker and author of “Exponential Organisations” will deliver a talk on the topic of “Exponential Organisations - The Organisations Model for the 21st Century”.
