This may be one of those times when you think “do I really need an app for that?”, but the answer is an instant yes.
Laundrie is a dry-cleaning and laundry on-demand application that was developed by Irish entrepreneur Evan Gray. As our lives become busier, many of us have less time for basic day-to-day tasks and are constantly on the lookout for ways to make life that bit easier. Laundrie does just that.
The app provides a laundry collection and delivery service, with a 48-hour turnaround time. Collection and delivery is free for all orders over €20.
Customers download the app, which is currently only available on iOS. They then select what needs to be cleaned, when and insert the collection point. Users receive a notification identifying the driver who will collect the items.
It's possible to track the entire process, with the option of receiving a notification when the clothes are being washed.
Once that process is complete, items are returned at a time that suits the user.
