Irish-registered firm behind 'Candy Crush' game to list on NYSE

The Ireland-registered company behind the 'Candy Crush Saga' game says it intends to float on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

King Digital Entertainment is set to raise over €360 million in the flotation.

Candy Crush is now the biggest game for users on Facebook. The company has more than 324 million monthly unique users and operates a website with 14 languages.

The firm says from the first quarter of 2012 to the fourth quarter of 2013, their revenue grew from €15.9 million to €437 million.

King plans to list on the NYSE under the ticker 'KING'. It has its registered headquarters in Dublin.

In its filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the firm said that in December 2013, an average of 128 million daily active users played their games more than 1.2 billion times per day.

In the fourth quarter of 2013, 73% of its gross bookings were from its mobile audience.

Some of their games include Candy Crush Saga, Pet Rescue Saga, Farm Heroes Saga and Papa Pear Saga.
