Want to learn French? Want to learn how to play the piano? Have you ever wanted to know how to learn ballet? For the things you can't just 'Google', Google have come up with an alternative.

Google have launched a new live video aid which aims to help you learn how to do anything you want. It's a face-to-face (by way of video link) personal interaction between you and someone who can hopefully teach you what you need to know.

Google's own definition of the service claims "Helpouts is a new way to get and give personalized help over live video. Our goal is simple: help people help each other. We want to enable everyone, no matter where they are or what time it is, to easily connect with someone who can help."

It isn't free though. It is a paid for video service where the user can 'purchase' the expert they want base on their price, experience, qualifications, etc. The video-based commerce initiative connects you the consumer with experts via Hangouts. It's a new market place for experts to push their skills.
