A new campaign entitled “Roam for Free” has been launched by eir, Ireland’s largest telecommunications company. Customers who avail of the new plans from eir can use their call and text allowances anywhere in the EU and receive an additional 1GB EU roaming data for free, each month.

Up to 40,000 existing eir mobile customers, who signed up to eir Mobile from September 2015, will also have the new benefit applied to their accounts before the end of April 2016. These customers will then receive Free EU Roaming as standard. New customers will receive the EU roaming across a range of eir plans, starting from €20 per month.
