Taoiseach, Enda Kenny will speak at South by Southwest Interactive (SXSWi) in Austin Texas as part of a panel discussion on Ireland's technology industry.
On March 15th he will join Irish entrepreneurs Brendan O’Driscoll and Joe Mitchell - as well as Enterprise Ireland's senior vice-president of internet, media and entertainment Simone Boswell, to discuss why the world's leading tech companies are coming to Ireland - and the country's indigenous start-up scene.
A number of Irish start-ups will attend the festival including NewsWhip, Gigstarter, and GreenletterBox.
The showcase coincides with Mr Kenny's trip to the United States for St Patrick's Day.
SXSWi says that he will discuss "how the Irish economy has been growing rapidly and how Ireland's reputation is shaping up to become a location for launching start-ups and a leading tech and innovation hub."
Ireland opened a Consulate in Austin in October of last year.
The festival is recognised as one of the world's leading technology conferences - crypto-currencies, self-driving cars, climate change and drones will all be discussed at the event.
