The world of fitness and sport has seen an incredible amount of innovation over the last number of years. Garmin has been a key player in this field and unveiled their new range of wearables at CES 2017.
There's three new watches in the FÄ“nix line up; the 5, 5S and 5X. Each of these watches has been designed with both athletes and adventurers in mind.
“After years in the wearables market, Garmin knows that athletes and adventurers come in all sizes, which is why we have designed the new line of FÄ“nix 5 watches to fit every wrist and every workout,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin vice president of worldwide sales. “This is the first time Garmin has created a variety of sizes out of one product line so now users don't have to choose between getting the features they want and wearing a watch that fits.”
"The first Fēnix designed with a focus on female athletes, the Fēnix 5S is a sleek, smaller-sized watch with a clean, sporty look. At 42mm, fēnix 5S is small and comfortable for petite wrists, without compromising on advanced training and multisport features," says Garmin.
Measuring 47mm, the FÄ“nix 5 has a new "athletic design" and is more compact than previous models.
Preloaded with routable European Topo mapping the FÄ“nix 5X measures at 51mm and comes in an incredibly sturdy steel design. The FÄ“nix 5X features the full set of training and multisport features and adds new advanced navigation and mapping.

Each of the FÄ“nix 5 models come preloaded with multisport features for running, cycling, swimming, skiing and more.
The FÄ“nix 5, 5S and 5x will be available before the end of the first quarter of the year. The FÄ“nix 5 and FÄ“nix 5S will have a suggested retail price of €599.99; the FÄ“nix 5 Sapphire, FÄ“nix 5S Sapphire will retail at €699.99 and FÄ“nix5X Sapphire will have a suggested retail price of €749.99.
