Some 250 jobs are on the way at Accenture.

The outsourcing company say they are looking for candidates from experienced executives to entry level - including graduates.

The new roles will be in technology, digital and analytics skills across key areas including cloud computing.

They are also looking to fill jobs across financial services, communications, media and the food and agricultural sector.

Most of the roles will be Dublin-based and Accenture says it expects to fill them by the end of August this year.

This announcement will bring the company's Irish workforce to just under 1,900.

Alastair Blair, Accenture's country managing director in Ireland, said: "There is a wealth of talent in this country, and we are pleased to offer the opportunity to develop careers with Accenture".

"Professionals who join our team will have access to the latest technology and will receive training and professional development opportunities to expand their business, industry and technical skills", he added.

Accenture has approximately 319,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries.
