Nearly 300 new jobs are being announced at two separate companies today.
Management consulting firm Accenture is to recruit 200 new staff while recruitment specialist Morgan McKinley are hiring 80 people.
Accenture is creating 200 new jobs over the next 12 months, as it sets up a new innovation centre here.
The consulting and technology firm is opening a research facility in Dublin as part of a €25 million investment, as it expands its expertise in areas including the Internet of Things, security and digital marketing.
The Centre for Innovation will include a new Accenture Technology Lab that will focus on identifying and scaling innovative solutions based on new and emerging technologies.
Dublin is the newest location in Accenture's global network of technology labs which includes San Jose, CA and Washington, DC, in the United States; Sophia Antipolis, France; Beijing, China; and Bangalore, India.
Meanwhile, Morgan McKinley is hiring 80 people across its offices in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Waterford.
The jobs will range from junior to senior consultant positions and the company is to begin recruiting immediately.
The Irish owned company announced the jobs as part of an international expansion across 10 countries.
Worldwide the company will now employ 1,100 people.
