The countdown to Electric Picnic is officially on. Thousands of revellers will hit Stradbally on Friday September 3rd to watch the likes of New Order and LCD Sound System, but to name a few. Following the success of their presence at Longitude and Punchestown, mobile network Three has announced the details of the official EP app and their 3Live lounge.
The app, which is available on both Android and iOS, allows users to see the full line up, look at maps of the site and ensure they don't miss any of their favourite acts.
Three will also provide onsite charging services, ensuring attendees can remain always on. For those who don’t fancy parting with their handset, portable power-banks will be available to purchase for €10. Empty power-banks can be swapped for a fully charged one all weekend at 3Live.
3Live promises a jam-packed schedule including DJ sets from Claire Beck and Marcus O’Laoire and an exclusive DJ set by TV and radio presenter Eoghan McDermott. Festival-goers will also be treated to 3Jukebox and 3Channel Silent Disco, along with some very special appearances from secret acts throughout the weekend.
