A video of Brian O’Sullivan singing a tribute to his late friend Ger "Farmer" Foley has been making waves online after it was picked up by websites around the world.
Foley, who hailed from Killorglin, was honoured in his local pub in Kerry with a rendition of the Killers' track 'Mr. Brightside' which has gone viral, garnering over 620,000 views in the three days since it was uploaded.
O'Sullivan hopped up on the bar counter to deliver an extraordinary performance of 'Mr Brightside' in memory of his late friend, with the whole pub joining in.
It has not gone unnoticed by the band themselves however, as they took to Twitter to send a message to O'Sullivan, noting that if lead singer Brandon Flowers ever needed to be replaced, they'd give him a call.
Brian O'Sullivan, if Brandon ever needs a fill-in, we're calling you! May we all have friends like this #farmersrule https://t.co/mENU0pGfHr
