Tesco Ireland is recalling batches of its beef ravioli, amid concerns they may contain pieces of rubber.

The retailer has issued point-of-sale notices, requesting customers who have bought the affected batches to return them to any of their stores.

The recall refers to Tesco Beef Ravioli 400g, which has a 'Best Before' date of 'End December 2018.'

The batch code for the recalled product is: LB3048 81724C, LB3049 81724C.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) says no other products are affected by this recall.
