Two people have been injured in a shooting in Dublin.
Shots were fired through the window of a house in the Cherry Orchard area of Ballyfermot at about 1.40am this morning.
A man and woman both aged in their 30s suffered minor injuries in the incident.
They were taken to St James's Hospital but it is understood they've since been discharged.
A forensic examination of the scene has been carried out and Gardaí at Ballyfermot are appealing for witnesses.
Sinn Féin TD Aengus Ó Snodaigh says it's unnerved people in the area, following the recent spate of gangland shootings.
"I'm just concerned - what if this happened during the day, or what if the children were out, or what if somebody picked, as we've seen, the wrong house."
