President Michael D Higgins is leading tributes to a teenager, who died after collapsing during a football match in Dublin.
16-year-old Izzy Dezu played for Cherry Orchard FC and joined Shelbourne Youths this year.
He suddenly collapsed during the second half of an under 16s match against St Kevin's Boys last night.
It is understood first aid including a defibrillator was used to try and revive him at the AUL complex on the Clonshaugh Road.
He was brought by ambulance to Beaumont Hospital, however he was later pronounced dead.
In a statement, Shelbourne FC said it was heartbroken to have to confirm the tragic death.
We are heartbroken to have to confirm the news that our Academy U16 player, Izzy Dezu, collapsed and died during a match last night.
The thoughts of everyone at Shelbourne FC are with his family and friends who have been devastated by his tragic loss.

In a statement, President Higgins said: "It is with great sadness that I have heard of the death of Izzy Dezu, a brilliant young member of Shelbourne F.C.'s Under 16 Academy.
"To his family, fellow players, friends and to Shelbourne F.C. I offer my sympathy at their tragic loss."
