Russell Crowe to play Dublin's Olympia Theatre

His musical venture The Indoor Garden Party will play the venue in October

Actor Russell Crowe will be flexing his musical chops in Ireland later this year, along with a host of other guests.

Canadian folk rocker Alan Doyle,  singers Samantha Barks and Scott Grimes and producer Carl Falk will join Crowe as part of their musical project The Indoor Garden Party on a tour of Ireland the UK this autumn.

The date at the Olympia Theatre comes ahead of the release of their highly anticipated new album ‘The Musical’ on Friday 16th June.

The band describe their ethos as being "a hive-mind of world-class musicians, songwriters and performers joining together for the sole purpose of creating unique material and enjoying each other’s company", with Crowe acting as principal song-writer.

The Indoor Garden Party’s says their songbook is "ever-growing" and "spans a variety of genres including pop, soul, rock and folk".
