Primark opened its seventh US store at the Staten Island Mall in Staten Island, New York.

With more than 330 stores in 11 countries, this marks Primark’s first foray into the New York market following the launch of its first store in Boston in 2015.

The opening at the Staten Island Mall introduces New York state shoppers to Primark’s signature fashion at accesible prices, offering the latest trends in womenswear, menswear and childrenswear in addition to homeware, beauty products and gifts.

The store encompasses 55,100 square feet of retail space and offers an enhanced customer experience with 41 fitting rooms, 36 cash registers and five refund and exchange registers, access to free Wifi and two customer “recharge” seating areas for enjoyable and convenient shopping.

The opening will also create over 200 jobs for the local community.

Primark operates in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France, Italy and the US; and has over 69,000 employees. Primark’s first US store opened in September 2015.
