For those out there who aren't the biggest fans of clowns, then this might be unwelcome news, but a remake is already underway of the movie It

The 1990 film, based on a work of fiction by Stephen King from 1986, tells the story of a group of children who are terrorised by a being that normally appears in the form of a clown.

The remake will star Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise the clown, while, according to Uproxx, original director Cary Fukunaga has been replaced by Andy Muschietti, who has shared some images from the set on his Instagram account, including what his version of the creature will look like.

He has yet to share an image of the finished product, but the concept art certainly appears to be different to the 1990 version. The movie recently started filming, as also confirmed by Muschietti on his Instagram as he posted an image from the set of his director's chair.

It's due for release in September of 2017, so you still have some time to work through your fear of clowns to the point that you can bring yourself to see it.
