More than 400,000 commuters are facing travel disruption as Dublin Bus drivers go on strike.
The two day action saw the last services run at 9.00pm Thursday.
Drivers have been picketing at bus depots across the capital since 5.00am.
Drivers are striking in three 48-hour stoppages this month in dispute over pay.
Nitelink services will also not operate on Friday night or Saturday morning.
While the Luas operator says the Green line is only running between Carrickmines and St Stephen's Green.
It says there is no service between Brides Glen and Carrickmines due to the power lines being down at the Laughanstown stop.
Maintenance crews are on site and working to restore power. The Red Line is operating normally.
Irish Rail says it has already hit capacity:

The AA says extra volumes of traffic are expected that will cause extremely heavy traffic on all routes into and out of Dublin city - as well as extra volumes around Bray, Greystones, Maynooth, Celbridge and Dunboyne.
Increased traffic is particularly likely on the N11 Wicklow Road, the N7 Naas Road, the N4 Lucan Road and the N3 Navan Road.
It is advising motorists to leave plenty of additional time to get to their destination, and use alternative modes of public transport where possible.
Gardaí say motorists are not permitted to use the bus lanes, as they are reserved for public service vehicles, emergency vehicles and cyclists.
These people have mixed feelings about the strike.
Further stoppages are due later this month on Thursday September 15th and Friday 16th, and again on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th.
