Newstalk took three gold awards at the PPI radio awards last night – with Off the Ball, Futureproof and Off The Ball Presenter Joe Molloy all taking home the top prize in their categories at the annual ceremony which honours the best in Irish radio talent.

The station also picked up six Silver Awards and five Bronze awards at the ceremony which was held in Galway City at the Radisson Hotel.
