Man due in court in Limerick charged in connection with cannabis seizure

A man is due in court in Limerick this morning charged in relation to a drugs seizure.

The 33-year-old is expected to appear before Limerick District Court in connection with a seizure of cannabis.

The drugs were discovered during a search at an apartment on Howley's Quay in Limerick City on Tuesday evening.

Cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €10,000 was recovered, along with €20,000 in cash.

The man was arrested by gardaí attached to Roxboro Road Garda Station.

The search was carried out as part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Limerick area.
