The numbers drawn were 11, 20, 35, 37, 45 and the Lucky Stars were 3 and 6.

The National Lottery confirmed on Monday that someone has made contact to claim the prize.

They now have 90 days to collect their prize.

It is unclear whether the winning ticket was bought by an individual or a syndicate.

This is the 11th Irish win since the game was launched in 2004 - bringing total Irish winnings to over €1bn.

And Dermot Griffin, the National Lottery chief executive, told Newstalk Breakfast the ticket was sold in Mayo.
