Gardaí have begun an investigation into the death of a man in his 30s from Donegal, who died after falling from a roof yesterday morning.

The father of two was rushed to Letterkenny University hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries. His name will not be released until relatives abroad have been informed of his death.

The scene has been preserved and gardaí are now conducting an investigation on behalf of the coroner's office.
