Gardaí say one of the victims of this afternoon's shooting in Dublin is a mother of six.
The woman, aged in her 40s, and a man, aged in his 30s, were shot dead at Balbutcher Drive in Ballymun earlier.
A child was in the house at the time and was slightly injured.
Two others - a man and a woman - are being treated in hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
The shooting happened just before 4pm.

Eyewitness reports say two men in balaclavas walked up to a house and fired a number of shots.
The area has been sealed off for a forensic examination.
Gardaí say a silver Opel Zafira with 08 LS plates was found partially burnt out a short distance from the scene.

Minister for Justice Charlie Flanagan this evening condemned the shooting.
In a statement, he said: “This outrageous attack is totally unacceptable and I utterly deplore this shooting which has tragically resulted in the loss of two lives as well as others injured.
"These ruthless people have no regard for human life and this will not be tolerated."
Local Social Democrats TD Roisin Shortall said many residents in Ballymun are now terrified that recent tensions in the area will escalate further.
She said: "Today’s events are shocking and a huge disappointment to the many community leaders and residents in Ballymun who are building a peaceful community in which families can rear their children in safety, older people can feel secure in their homes and people can go about their ordinary business without fear.
"The horrific incident is a chilling reminder of the extent of gangland crime on Dublin’s streets, much of it drug fuelled."
Dessie Ellis, Sinn Féin TD for Dublin North West, says ordinary innocent people can get caught up in these incidents, and said anyone involved in such violence should "stop and think" about what they're doing.
