Gardaí investigating after Donegal fire engine stolen

Investigations are continuing into the theft of a fire engine from Stranorlar Fire Station.
The vehicle, worth €400,000, was stolen overnight and later found dumped close to the border.
While the vehicle wasn't extensively damaged, vital equipment used when attending a Road Traffic Collision was stolen.
Garda Inspector Gorretti Sheridan is appealing for the public's help in catching those responsible for what she termed a heinous crime.
