Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a robbery and assault on the M7 motorway on Wednesday.
The incident happened just south of Naas, shortly after 12pm.
Three men in their 20s had pulled into the hard shoulder when they were approached by four men in a white Golf with a '151 D' registration.
The four men then assaulted the three others and stole a small quantity of cigarettes.
Gardaí have established that the white Golf had traveled from Tallaght before the robbery and then onto Tullow in Co Carlow.
Three men in their 20s and one juvenile were arrested in Tullow.
The three men have been charged in connection with the incident. They appeared before Naas District Court yesterday, where they were remanded on bail.
A file is being prepared for the DPP in relation to the juvenile who was arrested.
The motorway was busy at the time of the incident and gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at Naas Garda Station on 045-884-300 or any Garda station.
