Robbie Williams fans attending tonight's concert at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin are being advised to not bring backpacks or large handbags.

The bag restrictions are part of the increased security measures being implemented following last month's Manchester Arena attack.

Anyone attending tonight's Dublin concert is being urged to allow sufficient time to get through security checks.

Concert organisers MCD say: "To ensure as smooth an access as possible and to avoid any unnecessary delays we strongly suggest that you bring as little as possible with you to the event and minimize jackets and additional layers when possible.

"To avoid disappointment do not bring backpacks or larger handbags - you may be refused admission to the venue without a refund."

Similar restrictions have also been introduced for recent concerts at the 3Arena.

Tonight's sold out concert at the Aviva is the venue's first major concert of the summer, with Phil Collins also set to perform at the stadium next Sunday.

Gates open tonight at 6pm, with Erasure providing support.
