The winning ticket for last night's EuroMillions draw was bought in Ireland, the National Lottery has confirmed.

There was one winner of the jackpot worth nearly €24 million.

The numbers drawn were 2, 11, 13, 40 and 50 and the Lucky Stars were 1 and 10.

It is not yet known where exactly in Ireland the winning ticket was sold.

Nine EuroMillions jackpots have been won in Ireland since 2004.

Earlier this year, a group of friends collected their jackpot of over €66m after a winning ticket was sold in Carlow.

Ronan Leech is from National Lottery says the latest win is "great for [the winners] and great news for us - particularly after getting knocked out of the Euros last week, it's lovely to get something back."

National Lottery says it'll be next week before they reveal where the latest Euromillions winning ticket was sold, and the winners are being urged to sign it and keep it safely hidden.
