A school group has been rescued from the Mourne Mountains in Co Down.
The group of 11 was climbing the mountain yesterday, when weather conditions in the area deteriorated.
The Mourne Mountain Rescue Team says several members of the group were suffering from mild hypothermia, with one suffering from severe hypothermia which resulted in a loss of consciousness.
The group was rescued from the Western flank of Slieve Beg.
In total, 23 team members from the Mourne Mountain Rescue Team responded to the call at a 7.15pm yesterday evening.
The operation was stood down just after 1am this morning.
The rescue team says, "clearly had it not been for the outstanding efforts of the young people in this group, this situation would have been much much more serious".
