Three fishermen were rescued in gale force conditions by a volunteer lifeboat crew in Co Cork yesterday.
The 20-metre beam trawler was forced onto the rocks at Moneypoint, at the entrance to Kinsale Harbour.
It happened at around 6.00pm yesterday evening.
Newly-released footage from the RNLI shows the full extent of the rescue:
Speaking to Newstalk Lunchtime, Nick Searls of RNLI Kinsale said: "We knew when we got there that the weather was pretty bad, so we knew when we got there we just had to get them off pretty quick. They were a bit wet to be fair".
Meanwhile, images show the severe floods across Cork city centre last night.
