Gardaí and revenue officers have seized a consignment of cocaine with an estimated street value of €7,000 in Waterford.
The seizure of approximately 1kg of the drug was made in the Tramore area as part of an ongoing joint investigation targeting organised crime groups operating in Ireland.
A man in his 30s has been arrested and is currently detained at Tramore Garda Station.
He can be detained for up to seven days.
It follows an operation by the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau, Revenue, and Gardai from the Waterford Divisional Drugs Unit.
Joint Investigations by Gardaí and Revenue officers are continuing both domestically and internationally.
