Police in Los Angeles have said they are "not currently handling" any allegations about Brad Pitt.
Several sources are reporting on an alleged probe of child abuse claims against the actor.

Pitt, whose wife Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce against him, is alleged to have gotten "physical" with one of his children while on a private plane.
People.com reported that the Los Angeles Police Department and L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services are both investigating after someone anonymously reported the incident last Wednesday on the tarmac.
Another anonymous source told multiple outlets that Pitt "takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children... It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light."
But LAPD told Newstalk.com in a statement that it is "not currently handling any report or allegation into Mr. Brad Pitt".
The Department of Children and Family Services said it is legally prohibited from commenting on whether or not anybody is under investigation.
They added that any media reports "did not originate" from their office.
Meanwhile, actress Marion Cotillard - who was initially claimed to be having an affair with Pitt while on the set of their new movie Allied, leading to the divorce - took to Instagram to tackle the rumours head-on.
