Gardaí have arrested a man in connection with the investigation into the murder of David Douglas.
Douglas was fatally shot on Bridgefoot Street, Dublin 8 on 1st July 2016.
The man was arrested in North County Dublin earlier today and is currently detained at Kilmainham Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.

David Douglas suffered a number of gunshot wounds while standing on Bridgefoot Street. He was approached by a man in possession of a firearm who fired a number of shots, fatally wounding the victim.
