Wedding RSVP cards are usually a pretty dull formality - just two blank spaces to acknowledge your own attendance and the number of people joining you.

But one man has thrown tradition to the wind and designed his own tick-the-box format letter, as evidenced by the picture below, which was posted by Reddit user cloggingthetubes.

As there is no non-attendance option, you can arrive either 'regretfully' or 'with great excitement,' with reasons ranging from 'I am glad you are getting married' to 'I am part of a decades-long feud against members of your family.'

It also allows guests to say whether they will be bringing real or imaginary children.

If you're wondering how this brave move will go, there's even a satisfaction report at the bottom, where recipients can say whether they found the letter 'mildly confusing' or 'strangely effective.'
