Wayne Rooney has agreed a five-and-a-half year deal that will keep him at Manchester United until 2019.
The 28-year-old who has attempted to engineer moves from the club on two previous occasions will pick up a salary worth £300,000 per week.

But he has become one of the first names on the team sheet under David Moyes and has made 28 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 11 goals.
Rooney had been expected to sign the new deal in recent weeks, but agreement had been held up by negotiations on image rights.
