The Tánaiste's lashed out at opposition TDs who are complaining about the handling of new changes to the laws on water charges.
The government's tabled amendments which will give legal effect to the water conservation grant - but also require landlords to pay water charges if a tenant leaves without doing so.
The measures also include that a person cannot sell their property unless water bills are paid.
Opposition parties say the government's using sneaky tactics to try and limit debate on the plans in the Dáil next week.
But Joan Burton says the opposition have already had plenty of chances to speak out on Irish Water:
Health Minister Leo Varadkar says the government has been open about these measures and the legislation.
