Three men remain in Garda custody in Cork following the seizure of €126,000 worth of cannabis.

The men were arrested after two cars were stopped and searched at Skehanagh, Watergrasshill yesterday afternoon and the drugs were discovered.

The men aged 41, 51 and 59, and were taken to Gurranabraher and Mayfield Garda Stations for questioning under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.

A fourth man, aged 30, was later arrested in North Dublin and was detained at Finglas Garda Station.

He has since been released without charge, and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
