An investigation has been launched into the death of a teenage boy following a house party in Co Meath over the weekend.
The 17-year-old had attended a social event in Navan on Sunday night and was later discovered unconscious at a friend's house.
The teenager was brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, where he died a short time later.

He was due to start his Leaving Certificate exams tomorrow.
A post-mortem examination has been carried out and gardaí say the boy's death is not being treated as suspicious.
A file is being prepared under the Coroner's Act.
