Authorities have said that Kuala Lumpur International Airport will be scanned for toxic chemicals tomorrow after the half brother of North Korea's leader was murdered there.

Police in Malaysia say the chemical used is classified by the United Nations as a weapon of mass destruction.

Meanwhile, Indonesia's deputy ambassador to Malaysia has said that the Indonesian suspect in the death of the North Korean leader's half brother Kim Jong-nam was paid $90 US dollars to help carry out the attack.

But Deputy Ambassador Andriano Erwin repeated Siti Aisyah's previous claim that she was duped into it, thinking she was taking part in a prank.

Police say the 25-year-old rubbed a toxic chemical on Kim Jong-nam's face at Kuala Lumpur airport earlier this month.

Erwin met Aisyah on Saturday in Malaysia, where she is now in custody. Another alleged attacker, a Vietnamese woman was also arrested in connection with the attack.

According to police, Aisyah rubbed VX nerve agent on the face of Kim Jong Nam amid crowds of travelers at Kuala Lumpur's airport on February 13th. Kim was the older half brother of North Korea's ruler.
