If you're thinking of spending the long weekend sorting out holiday plans, Ryanair is keen to ensure you're flying with them over the next couple of months.

The low fares airline has launched its Easter sale today, with seats from €19.99 on over 900 routes across its European network.

The slashed seat prices are currently available for travel in April and May.

Flights must be booked online before midnight on Tuesday, April 18th.

Ryanair's chief marketing officer Robin Kiely said:

"Ryanair customers are hopping off across Europe for the Easter break and it’s not too late to book a low fare getaway with our Easter specials...

"Since these amazing low fares will be snapped up quickly, customers should get cracking, log onto ryanair.com and be a clever bunny this Easter.”

Ryanair recently announced that its passenger numbers swelled by 10% in March, as it carried 9.4 million customers. Its load factor was 94%, meaning that nearly all of the seats on its flights were filled.

The company carried 120 million customers in the first three months of the year, a 13% increase on the first quarter of 2016.

It is aiming to better a record-breaking year. In 2016, it carried 106 million passengers and generated profits of €1.24 billion, 43% higher than in 2015.

Ryanair has added a string of new 2017 routes, including flights from Dublin to Valencia, Naples, and Tours.
