For those of you out there who have been playing Pokemon Go through a workaround on your iPhone or Android device, there's some good news this Saturday morning.

Nintendo have announced that the game has been officially released in 26 new countries, including Ireland.

The game has been a massive success for Nintendo already, which has seen their share price sky rocket. The app has already been downloaded more than Tinder, and with the opening up of new markets from Saturday, there looks to be no stopping its growing popularity.

The next step in the process is to monetise the product even further; although they are making $1 million a day from in-app purchases, they announced that they would be working with advertising partners to create sponsored locations in the near future.

Hillary Clinton has also hopped abroad the bandwagon, hoping to get people to a rally using the lure of Jigglypuff or Mewtwo

If you have absolutely no idea at all what's going on with the world of Pokemon, then here's a handy beginner's guide to get you up to speed so you can see what all the fuss is about.
