The newest work by world-famous graffiti artist Banksy recently appeared in his home city of Bristol, but it wasn't long before someone decided to make a few changes.
The mural, a replica of Vermeer's 'Girl with a Pearl Earring,' which replaces the earring with a burglar alarm, appeared on a wall near the city's docklands on Monday.
But no more than 24 hours later, the BBC reports, another less artistic vandal threw dark paint at 'Girl with a pierced eardrum', obscuring the bottom part.
The work is Banksy's latest since 'Mobile Lovers,' which appeared in April and was later sold for over £400,000 to raise money for Bristol's Broad Plain Boy's Club.
