A man has been injured following a shooting near a primary school in Co Armagh.
Officers say they received a report of the shooting in Moyraverty shortly after 3pm this afternoon.
It is believed shots were fired from a car.
A man was injured in the incident, and is now receiving medical attention.
Chief Inspector Jon Burrows said the area was very busy at the time of the shooting, and a number of people may have witnessed it as a result.
“There are no words to describe the foolhardiness and complete disregard for the safety of the children and parents who were in the area at the time," he added.
Police say they believe a black BMW 525 Sport, reg JIG 8111, which was found on fire at Deramore Drive in Craigavon at around 3.20pm may be linked to the shooting.
